BOTH - met great friends and enjoyed the trips and loved the skating trails. It was great getting away and just feeling free to skate and enjoy the beauty on the trails.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I am an avid runner and train year round for 1/2 and full marathons.
Work Full time as an R.N. and when not running, skating or working I love the time I spend with my grandchildren.
I have just purchased a cannondale Synapse Carbon bike and have joined the Duathalon training team for the Nationals in VA in April. I am also doing the National DC running marathon in March!
Which Zephyr trip is next on your list?
Would love to go to Canada or Idaho.

HEY ANNE - I'm just so ordinary - but love doing these things and feel so lucky to get to continually meet amazing folks like YOU!!! I have to tell you - all of my friends know about amazing ANN and her independent attitude and amazing zest for life!!!! How is that pink mohawk???
Hooboy, world championship, Team USA - are you still gonna be speakin to us, girl! I am just SO impressed, and always was, ever since you and Deb told me you were going down that pedestrian overpass in Tampa, just blows my mind! By all means find time to take that break and skate some. Have you looked into the Squiggy events in Tampa? Google 'em up. Sounds like fun. Maybe we will roll together there!
I'm so EXCITED - I just got picked to participate in the WORLD DUATHLON championship on team USA!!!!

I am in training for my 7th Marathon and now I am entered in my 2nd Duathlon. Golly - I'm going to have to take a break this winter and get back to my skating. Haven't done much other then with my Grandchildren at the Park and Skating Rink. Must say it's fun having them to skate with and my Grandson INLINE SKATES so well!!! children have no fear!
Hey Marianne baby - how ya doin! So youre biking now - wow, you are so awesome! I never had a chance to tell you this but you were a real inspiration to me on the tour, both as a skater and spiritually. Luv ya, Ann
1:58?? Wow! That is fast, girl! A LOT faster than me. Congratulations and hope you qualify for Boston! I am a "completer, not a competer" as my friend says. I am doing the Galloway run-walk and really don't care about my time. At least yet. I'm just thrilled that I was able to make it 13 miles!! Hee hee -- keep me posted.
