Colorado, Lake Tahoe, Burgundy, Montana, China, Peru, Spain, and Chile/Argentina.
What was your favorite Zephyr trip and why?
Peru. The four-day trek on the Inca trail is incredible! The trail is excellent, the scenery is spectacular, and the Peruvian guides and staff are awesome!
What do you like to do in your free time?
Hike, skate, bike, travel, and surf around on the Zephyr Alumni site.
Devon, the day you and I rode away from the pack on our bikes in Burgundy remains one of my all-time favorite days. It was absolute bliss - just what I've learned to expect from a Zephyr adventure! Looking forward to seeing you soon. :)
Hi Devon,
Yes, Erica landed in Paris at 10:30 pm our time last night. Sort of weird not celebrating with her today. I hope she is having a blast!
Dave, Brian and I leave on Saturday for a week of fun planned by Brian in S. Cal.
Take care and have a fun trip and wedding in New York!
Sharon
Hi Devon,
Things are great - I'm finally retired! :-)
Loved looking through your photos - fabulous memories!
Hope all is well with you, too!

Hi Devon,
Thanks so much for your note! Southern Spain was fantastic. The weather was gorgeous and I really enjoyed seeing a different part of the country, although it too had more mountains and trees than I had expected. I really, really enjoyed the Zephyr tour and the people that I met. It was a great trip, and an excellent break from the stresses of work.
How was the rest of your time in Spain? Did the weather improve? I hope you got to relax, and hope also that your trip home went smoothly.
It was great to meet you and I hope to see you again sometime on a future trip, or at your spa.
Take care,
Sharon

Dear Devon,
Greetings to you from Los Angeles. I apologize for taking so long to reply to your message. Things very busy at work. And, as of last Saturday, a beautiful dog has come into our home. My schedule is still adjusting to all the changes!
Yes, Germany was grand, and, I mean grand. Miles and miles of wonderful paths on which toskate. I do not think we have the likes of such good terrain here in LA.
You know, I think of you quite often. For a while there, I was making your version of the granola recipe you got from the Plumpjack Inn. Then, a few months ago, I discovered Udi's Granola at Whole Foods and which hails from your part of the world. As commercially produced granola goes, I think this product is very good.
I do hope this finds you well, Devon. All the best,
Laurie
Hi Devon, nice to hear from you! The business is going great. Now we are pretty settled and build up a name and experience, our biggest upcoming challange is to grow. Our strategy is to hire free lance consultants to get a good financial backbone before hiring good (and expensive) consultants. So our business risk will not be too high. We are now only with two people but within 5 years I want to be a small flexible, creative and friedly company with 8-10 people.
Are you still running your spa business?
Irene
