How is/was Big Sky?? We had fantastic sunny weather while we were there, but not a ton of snow. We wound up skate-skiing at Lone Mountain Ranch on Saturday (the day you arrived) until the very last minute (it was sooooo nice out!) and then drove into Bozeman to watch the Banff Film Festival. So, needless to say, I didn't bother to bother you with a call! :) Sorry I missed you but I probably passed you on the road somewhere. I want to hear all about your trip when you get back and have time.
Yes, that might be hard. We could, at a minimum, wave at each other as we pass on the road! Will you have your cell phone with you? Do you know where you're staying in Big Sky?
We'll be staying in Bozeman the night of the 17th -- maybe we could meet up for dinner before you head to Big Sky? I will be with Cheryl Jenkins (on this site), another Zephyr Alum.
Yes, Red Lodge has a mountain and right now the most snow of any ski area in Montana -- wahoo!
Congrats on your new house! I would love to live right on a skating trail...how nice that must be! You are lucky.
Big Sky is only 3 hours away from Red Lodge. I will actually be there at the end of next week! I'll be skiing Moonlight Basin on the 15th, Big Sky on the 16th and Lone Mountain Ranch on the 17th. Is that the weekend you'll be there? Or will you be there the weekend AFTER MLK (which is Monday the 19th, I believe). Would be great to see you! There are a bunch of Zephyrites who will also be there (extending their Winter In Yellowstone trip) that weekend.
